About Me & Shadow

Hello, it’s me Pamela & Shadow

I am a Gen Xer with Early onset Parkinson’s Disease. I also survived Breast Cancer & Guillain Barre Syndrome but living my lifelong dream of owning my own horse.

Shadow is my young Quarter Horse X gelding, we came together in the fall of 2025. I study online Equine Studies through University of Guelph, and learn through mentors, trainers and the International Society of Equitation Science. 

Through my stories and experiences, I hope you learn a little about horses, living with a chronic illness, and finding some joy or lessons worth taking away for yourself. Thanks for being here, Pamela
